Independent expert reviews of digital products and services

You provide a digital product or service, and you need to know where the online safety risks are. A Jess Digital review gives you an expert, independent reading of your product: a critical friend who can objectively appraise, find the gaps and show you what to do about them.

A review helps you understand your responsibilities for keeping users safe online, what good practice looks like across the market, and how the design choices you've made affect the safety of the people who use your product. My approach draws on both my online safety expertise, and what I see regularly reviewing large numbers of apps, games and devices.

What you get

The depth scales with the tier you choose. Every review gives you a clear read on your product's safety strengths, its gaps, and practical observations on what to do next.

Tier 1 — Light review is for pre-launch or early-stage products with limited functionality and no dedicated safety resource.

Tier 2 — Standard review is a fuller analysis, for products with developed functionality, multiple user types, or a more complex picture.

Tier 3 — Deep review is a comprehensive review for products with material complexity, in-house Trust & Safety capability, AI features at scale, and similar.

Reviews start from £3,000.

Good to know

An independent, expert critical friend who looks at your product or service closely, finds the gaps and points to the opportunities, informed by the wider market.

A review does not replace your own statutory assessments, technical security assessments or any activities you undertake to comply with regulations. Those stay with your legal counsel and your regulatory and technical advisers.
